What is the Downtown Kingsland Facade Improvement Grant? This grant offers income producing merchants and businesss in the downtown Kingsland district the opportunity to spruce of their store front.  The Kingsland DDA provides a ‘dollar-for-dollar’ match (up to $ 1,000.00) for improvements to the front of the building.  They also provide a ‘dollar-for-dollar’ match (up to $ 200.00) for lighting improvements to the front of the building.  The grant process is user friendly and to date has helped over 20 businesses in dowtown Kingsland.

Kingsland Opportunity Zone  What is an Opportunity Zone? Opportunity Zones are Georgia's best tax credit for job creation. Businesses creating two or more net jobs in a tax year may be eligible to receive a State tax credit of $3,500 per employee if their businesses are located in eligible zones.

Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) Downtown Development Revolving Loan Fund  The purpose of the Downtown Development Revolving Loan Fund (DD RLF) is to assist cities, counties and development authorities in their efforts to revitalize and enhance downtown areas by providing below-market rate financing to fund capital projects in core historic downtown areas and adjacent historic neighborhoods.   One Georgia The OneGeorgia Authority serves as a financial partner and catalyst in helping rural communities maintain excellent quality of life advantages while also creating sustainable and diversified economies. DCA Employment Incentive Programs   The Employment Incentive Program (EIP) is a financing program that may be used in conjunction with traditional private financing to carry out economic development projects which will result in employment of low and moderate income persons. See if you qualify. US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) A flexible program that provides communities with resources to address a wide range of unique community development needs. The CDBG program provides annual grants on a formula basis to 1209 general units of local government and States. Homesafe Georgia HomeSafe Georgia is a federally funded, state operated mortgage assistance program that helps homeowners avoid foreclosure.
